Wine Review: This very clean, straw-colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes region of New York opens with aromas of white peach, wet slate, and lime with subtle hints of butterscotch and gardenia florals. On the palate, it is dry as labeled, with medium-minus body, medium-plus acidity. The mouthfeel is fresh, delicate, slightly restrained, and straight forward. There are flavors of white peach, lime, ash, and green melon with notes of saline and crushed shells. Serve lightly chilled with fried shrimp. - Mark
