Wine Review: This clear and pale ruby colored Pinot Noir from Merriam opens with a cranberry and violets bouquet with hints of strawberry, dried flowers, and black pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and delicate. The flavor profile is a plum and stone dust blend with notes of oak, strawberry, and rhubarb. We also detected hints of mushroom, black tea and cranberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its gentle refined tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with blackened seared tuna. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A vibrant expression of Russian River Valley fruit, this Pinot Noir opens with a dark, fragrant nose layered with wild blackberry, ripe plum, and subtle notes of black tea leaf. The palate is bright bursting with flavors of candied cherry, raspberry, and red currant, all anchored by the softness of strawberry shortcake. Elegant yet expressive, this vintage walks the line between structure and charm.
