Wine Review: Joe Carr makes very approachable and affordable wines. This un-oaked pale yellow colored Chard is an example of the philosophy. It opens with a pineapple and lemon like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, crispy, and displays slightly tart light lemon flavors. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. We thought this wine would pair well with swordfish.
