Wine Review: This dark ruby colored wine from Antinori opens with a black cherry and mild cedar bouquet with hints of chocolate, espresso and blackberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well-balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is green olive and a gentle blackberry blend with notes of black tea, cedar and green tomato. We also detected hints of toasted nut and herbs. The finish is rather dry and its dusty fine tannins show really nice length. The Panel suggested pairing it with a filet mignon or a veal chop. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Tignanello 2016 is in full harmony with the vintage. This wine shows an intense and bright ruby red color. On the nose, notes of ripe red fruits come together with pleasant hints of fresh blackberry and wild berries. At the same time, it shows delicate and perfectly integrated aromas of vanilla and dark chocolate with light spice sensations. On the palate, the wine is vibrant, with silky and refined tannins. Balanced and intense, it has a long, complex and persistent finish.
