Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and loam bouquet with hints of cola, blueberry, baking spice, and bay leaf. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, polished, and fresh. The flavor profile is a blackberry and loam blend with notes of oak, boysenberry, and black tea. We also detected some hints of graphite and bay leaf. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would decant this solo sipper, Cab. With food, we would suggest pairing it with beef wellington or a strip steak with a mushroom sauce. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: An example of how excellent vineyard practices can make a varietal shine, this limited bottling has all the layers and unique characteristics you’d expect from a high-quality Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, aromas of wild sage hint at an herbal character. Notes of dark berries and dark plum play in concert with more savory flavors and a tinge of chocolate throughout. The palate is linear with brilliantly focused acidity and freshness that lead to a pleasingly dry finish.
