Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black licorice and blueberry bouquet with hints of cocoa, cassis, and pencil lead. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is very well-balanced, super smooth and dense. The flavor profile is a tasty and intense black currant, black licorice, crushed stone blend with notes of black tea. We also detected hints of wild blueberry and oak. The finish is dry, and its bold and dusty tannins linger and last for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Clone 6 Cab with a ribeye. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2019 vintage of the Clone 6 Cabernet Sauvignon is nothing short of outstanding. A vibrant nose full of red berries sets the stage for this expressive and unique wine. On the palate, intense mocha and molasses flavors are rounded out by hints of maple syrup, blackberry, and traditional cola. A rich, round, and powerful mouthfeel full of firm, grippy tannins create a full sensory experience. The finish is long and expressive to the end. While enjoyable now, this wine will continue to develop complexity in the bottle and age well for 20+ years.
