Wine Review: This medium purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and black tea bouquet with hints of moist pipe tobacco, vanilla, and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, elegant, and well-balanced. The flavor profile is black currant and crushed stone minerality with notes of black cherry and oak. We also detected hints of blueberry and chocolate as well. The finish is dry, and its fine-grained dusty tannins stick around for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a Sunday roast beef with Yorkshire pudding. Enjoy – KWGTP
