Wine Review: This medium purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Beringer opens with a musty cedar and mild menthol bouquet with hints of coffee and stone dust. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and approachable. The flavor profile is a cherry and cedar blend with notes of stony minerality and black plum. We also detected hints of black licorice, oolong tea, and elderberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, tingly acidity and dusty tannins linger and last for a while. We would pair this Cab with a beef wellington. Enjoy - KWGTP
