Wine Review: This clear medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from CHEV opens with a red licorice and black raspberry bouquet with hints of cherry-cola, orange zest, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, plush, and bright. The flavor profile is black plum and orange zest blend with notes of red raspberry and cinnamon tea. We also detected hints of lavender, chocolate, and loam. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and faint tannins fade away nicely. We would pair this excellent Pinot with a Peking duck or with grilled salmon. Enjoy - KWGTP
