Wine Review: This clear medium garnet colored Pinot Noir from CHEV opens with an inviting mild red raspberry and black plum bouquet with hints of cedar, cinnamon, and teaberry gum. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely, balanced, smooth, and approachable. The flavor profile is slightly tart red plum and red cherry licorice blend with notes of orange peel, strawberry, and crushed stone. We also detected hints of cinnamon, cedar, and a touch of cola. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity and faint tannins fade away nicely. This Pinot benefits from some aeration. We would decant it for a bit in the near term before pairing it with miso glazed salmon or with duck confit. Enjoy - KWGTP

Crushed stone and fresh ocean mist emerge mid-palate, grounding the fruit and enhancing depth. A smooth and satisfying finish with lingering cherry and strawberry.
