Wine Review: This clear platinum colored Sauvignon Blanc from Craggy Range opens with a mild tomato leaf and gentle white grapefruit bouquet with hints of lime zest and ginger tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and very mouthwatering. The flavor profile is light white grapefruit and lime blend with notes of ginger tea, saline, and Meyer lemon. We also detected hints of passionfruit and flinty minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and are nicely sustained. We would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with grilled swordfish or with a pan-seared sea bass. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Pale lemon in color, this Sauvignon Blanc speaks of the complex soils found at our Te Muna vineyard. The elegant aromas of white peach, lemon, blossoms, fresh-cut herbs, and passionfruit follow through to the palate, which is met with crisp acidity. The wine is harmonized by the stoney minerality, subtle salinity, and chalky texture that the old river stones of our vineyards provide. Pairs well with fresh oysters, shellfish, goat cheese, grilled white fish and Asian cuisine.
