Wine Review: This very bright light straw colored Chardonnay opens with a citrus and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and crisp for a Chard. The flavor profile is chalky mineral influenced light lime with hints of lemon verbena, Anjou pear and just a touch of oak. The finish is dry and refreshing for a Chard. I would pair this Chard with trout almandine. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 2018 Chardonnay is bright straw yellow colored and opens with aromas of slate, lemon rind, and honeysuckle. Alluring flavors of Gala apple skin and white stone fruit are balanced by a crisp and flinty mineral texture on the mid-palate that epitomizes the fruit grown on these fog-washed vineyards. The vibrant acidity provides precision and length that drives a lingering finish.
