Wine Review: This clear and dark red colored Pinot Noir from Crossbarn opens with a black raspberry and strawberry bouquet with hints of maraschino cherry, cedar, violets, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and a little mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a red plum and mild red licorice blend with notes of red raspberry and cinnamon. We also detected hints of tobacco, black tea, and pomegranate. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine tannins fade away nicely. We would pair this crowd-pleasing Pinot with a roasted quail with a bourbon cranberry sauce or with Sheri’s sausage stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy - KWGTP
