Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay opens with a fragrant ginger and pear bouquet with hints of lemon and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and bright for a Chard. The flavor profile is a Bosc pear and vanilla blend with notes of lime and green tea. I also detected hints of banana, white pepper, and touch of clementine. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely prolonged.
