Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Malbec From DAOU opens with a boysenberry, lilac and blackberry bouquet with notes of espresso. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, beautifully balanced, soft and smooth. The flavor profile is a refined earthy minerality and blueberry blend with notes of blackberry. We also detected hints of chocolate and gentle espresso. The finish is dry and its refined gentle dusty tannins stick around for quite a long time. The Panel would pair this delicious Malbec with grilled Colorado lamb chops with lavender or a Bon Appétit classic cassoulet. Enjoy – KWGTP
