Wine Review: This midnight purple colored wine opens with a mild black currant bouquet with hints of stewed plum and coffee grounds. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, round and silky smooth. The flavor profile is tasty black cherry and blackberry blend with notes of oak and gentle minerality. We also detected hints of black tea and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate soft tannins are nicely extended. The Panel suggested pairing this with a ribeye steak, or Kerry's 100-point teriyaki meatballs. Enjoy – KWGTP
