Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a mild black plum, cherry-cola, and cassis bouquet with hints of dark chocolate and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, silky smooth, elegant, and polished. The flavor profile is a black licorice, black cherry, and menthol blend with notes of black plum and cedar. We also picked up detected some hints of minerality and blueberry. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins linger and last for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a New York strip steak fireside this winter. Enjoy – KWGTP
