Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored Cabernet Franc from DAOU opens with a mild black currant and black tea bouquet with hints of stewed plum and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, smooth, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and graphite blend with notes of espresso and dark chocolate. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its refined tannins drift away nicely.
