Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon blend from South Africa opens with a blueberry and cedar bouquet with hints of red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a cured meats and cedar blend with notes of black cherry and cinnamon. I also detected hints of minerality and cumin. The finish is rather dry, and its dusty tannins and flavors linger and last for quite a while. This wine would pair well with wild game. Try it with venison stew or Jiko's wild boar. Enjoy – Ken & Dav

Winemaker Notes: The iconic Left Bank-based blend from De Toren Fusion V is meticulously crafted from Bordeaux's "Noble Five" varietals and, with its complex flavors of licorice, black cherry, cedar, and dark berries, it offers a stylish departure for sophisticated oenophilic tastes. Soft as spun silk, with a lingering hint of sweet fruit on the back palate, this is a wine that will only improve with age.
