Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Merlot from Decoy opens with a blackberry, cassis, bittersweet chocolate and eucalyptus bouquet. On the palate, it is medium bodied with mild acidity. We also found it to be juicy, soft, smooth and round. It displays subtle flavors of black cherry, pomegranate, red raspberry and red plum with a hint of milk chocolate. The finish has well-structured tannins that linger nicely. We would serve this Merlot steak tips. Enjoy - Karen & Stuart

Winemaker Notes: This lush and inviting Merlot displays layers of black cherry, blueberry and plum underscored by dark chocolate, cedar and mineral notes. On the palate, balanced acidity adds poise and elegance, while silky tannins carry the wine to a fruitful and concentrated finish.
