Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored red blend from Decoy opens with a black plum and black raspberry bouquet with hints of oak and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, soft and round. The flavor profile is a graphite and black plum blend with notes of black cherry and cedar. I also detected hints of black tea and a touch of red currant. The finish is dry and moderate tannins fade away nicely. This wine would pair well with steak frites. Enjoy – Ken
