Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from Decoy opens with a gentle chamomile tea and pineapple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and a bit lush. It also has some freshness. The flavor profile is a blend of Bosc pear, gentle pineapple, and oak with notes of candied ginger and lemon. There is a hint of chamomile and white pepper in the after taste. The finish is nicely prolonged. I would pair this Chard with chicken francese. Enjoy – Ken
