Wine Review: This yellow colored Chard from Freestone opens with a light tropical fruit like bouquet and a touch of smoke. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, clean, and refreshing with citrusy flavors that show a touch of minerality and caramel. The finish was dry and subtle. The panel felt this wine would pair well with chicken cordon bleu or a slow roasted pork tenderloin with apple compote. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The first impression on the nose is cool, with mineral and smoky notes that suggest foggy mornings and rich soil. The palate offers an oily, yet crisp texture with underlying layers of rock, earth and slow-toasted wood, followed by concentrated nectar of stone fruits and a long, steely finish.
