Wine Review: This clear pale coral colored Vin Gris of Pinot Noir from Goldeneye is really good! It opens with a peach and rose petal bouquet with hints of red cherry and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, crisp, and bright. The flavor profile is a tasty mild ruby grapefruit and mild red raspberry blend with notes of stony dust and tangerine. I also detected hints of white pepper and maraschino cherry. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are very refreshing. I would pair this Rose with steamed mussels in a garlic and wine broth. Enjoy - Ken
