Wine Review: This gold colored "Late Harvest" Sauvignon Blanc opens with a golden raisin and ginger bouquet with hints of pineapple and whiskey barrel. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, viscous, and warm. The flavor profile is a peach and Nilla wafer blend with notes of grilled pineapple and chamomile tea. We also picked up some hints of lemon verbena, malt, and ginger mixed in. The finish is sweet, and its flavors show very nice length. The Panel would drink this dessert wine with grilled peaches and cream or gingerbread cookies. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This wine's concentrated, yellow-gold color shimmers in the glass as fragrant aromas entice. Honeysuckle, candied ginger, toasted almonds, and lemon meringue tease the senses on the nose. Dense and lush on the palate, the mouth explodes with honeyed pears and pineapple, orange blossom, apricot and a sprinkling of nutmeg. Surprisingly fresh and clean for a late harvest wine, the luscious flavors linger on the finish without being cloying.
