Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a ripe black cherry and raspberry bouquet with notes of vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with moderate acidity. It is balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a blend of stewed black plum and vanilla oak along with notes of cherry and raspberry. I also detected hints of clove and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot Noir is very food friendly and would pair well with a smoked duck crostini with raspberry preserves. Enjoy – Ken
