Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Ramey opens with oak and lemon like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a lemon verbena and new oak blend with notes of minerality. I also detected some hints green apple, walnut and a touch of Werther's Original. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors linger nicely. This Chard is food friendly and would pair well with pecan chicken. Enjoy - Ken
