Wine Review: This dark red colored Merlot based blend from Ramey was very well received by all those who tried it. It opens with a fragrant black cherry and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and a little juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and mild minerality blend with hints of cola, plum and red cherry. The finish is dry and is flavors and well-managed moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. I would pair this wine with filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This is our tribute to the Right Bank model of Pomerol and St-Emilion. Having worked two vintages there, this rings very familiar. Hillside Merlot and Cabernet Franc combine for a plush yet structured California version.
