Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from the Richie Vineyard is Excellent. It opens with an attractive pineapple, lemon and oak bouquet with a hint of butterscotch. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and displays pleasant acidity. The flavor profile is similar to the nose. It features a delicious mélange of pineapple, lemon, toasted oak and butterscotch. The finish is dry and its flavors linger before drifting away nicely. This Chard is best to be enjoyed on its own. With food, I would try it with lobster bisque. Enjoy - Ken
