Wine Review: This midnight violet colored Zinfandel from the Dry Creek opens with a boysenberry and prune bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, smooth and very juicy. The flavor profile is an extracted blackberry and plum with notes of minerality, oak and raspberry tea. The finish is dry and its medium tannins and nice acidity show good length. This Zin would pair well with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 2014 Teldeschi Zinfandel has powerful aromas of black cherries, coffee, caramel, and vanilla as well as other sweet dark fruit scents, combine to create the classic character of a great Dry Creek Benchland Zinfandel. Rich flavors of sweet cherry liqueur, vanilla, and smoke lead to a ripe, dense, long, and bright fruit finish.
