Wine Review: This bright red colored Zinfandel from the Alexander Valley opens with a candied apple and red plum bouquet with a hint of tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild craisin and red plum blend with notes of strawberry rhubarb. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors drift away and linger nicely. This Zin is very food friendly. I would pair it with a grilled pork loin. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2015 Big River Vineyard Zinfandel is wonderfully juicy with black, jammy fruit. Supple texture is the hallmark of this weighty wine.
