Wine Review: This deep garnet colored Shiraz based blend has dark cherry, red currant, smoked meat and oak in the bouquet, along with some black pepper and lilac. On the palate it is balanced, juicy and quite smooth, with medium-plus acidity and a medium-plus body. The flavor profile is red fruit focused featuring red plum, red currant, some gentle oak, light gravel and clove. The finish is dry with silky tannins that last a long time. Perfect with steak kabobs. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: The nose is spicy, with aromas of black pepper, plum, cherry, and cedar wood. There is also a light perfume of violets and plum on the nose. The palate is well-balanced and structured, with juicy fresh tannins and a dry finish. Distinct notes of red fruit and spice on the palate all add to this complex and enjoyable wine. The limited oak contact makes this red wine smooth and approachable right now. Drink now until 2021. Made with Organic grapes.
