Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Robert Foley opens with a mild grapefruit and lemon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, delicate, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty lemon verbena and mild mineral blend with notes of saline and light tangerine and a touch of faint grapefruit. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chard is a crowd pleaser, very food friendly and versatile. I would pair it grilled red snapper. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Inaugural Vintage: This is crafted in the style that we personally prefer, avoiding the heavy hands of malolactic fermentation and excessive oak. The aroma offers suggestions of vanilla, lemon and butterscotch, which are also delivered in the flavor profile on the palate. Medium in body, there is a delightful liveliness from ample and integrated natural acidity, that also provides for a long mouthwatering finish.
