Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Robert Foley opens with a pineapple and pear bouquet with hints of lemon tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is saline and mild pineapple custard blend with notes of chamomile tea and almond. I also detected hints of white peach and lemon verbena. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Chardonnay with a chilled crab cocktail. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This delicious white is created in the style that we personally prefer, avoiding the heavy hands of malolactic fermentation and excessive oak. The aroma has suggestions of peach, honeysuckle, and green apple, which are also delivered in the flavor profile on the palate. Medium in body, there is a delightful liveliness from ample and integrated natural acidity, providing for a long mouthwatering finish.
