Wine Review: This coral-colored Brut Rose from Mirabelle displays lots of random streaming tiny bubbles. It opens with a bread dough and strawberry bouquet with hints of watermelon and faint maraschino cherry. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. It has a pleasant medium froth. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, gentle, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild bread dough and gentle red raspberry blend with notes of lime and saline. I also detected hints of watermelon and white pepper. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would serve this crowd-pleasing sparkler on New Year's Eve for the toast if you are having a large crowd. With food pair, it with shrimp cocktail. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 33rd bottling of the Mirabelle Brut Rosé opens with notes of strawberry, cherry, raspberry, and apricot, followed by Meyer lemon, orange zest, ginger, and honey. A candied entry on the palate offers flavors of apple pie, creamsicle and strawberry-lemonade, with underlayers of ruby grapefruit, watermelon, and rhubarb, leading to a tangy and quenching finish.
