Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from South Africa opens with a cedar, cola and raspberry bouquet with hints of herbal tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft and juicy. The flavor is a mineral and cedar influenced spiced red plum with notes of red raspberry. I also detected hints of red cherry and red currant. The finish is dry and it moderate tannins are nicely extended. This wine would pair nicely with a juicy bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Philippe, the owner and winemaker, made this blend with the same philosophy. The harmony between the Cab and the Syrah is very well done. The nose is smooth, with the fruity aromas of Syrah, and then when you drink it, the enjoyable taste of the Cab comes in to create a real innocent experience.
