Wine Review: This ruby colored “Old Vines” Zinfandel opens with strawberry and craisin bouquet with hints of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and round with plus acidity. The flavor profile is a blackberry and black raspberry blend with notes of minerality and cedar. I also detected hints of plum and five spice. The finish is dry and with moderate tannins and a just a touch of heat. This Zin would pair well with grilled angus steak tips. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: A vibrant blend of old vine fruit, this aromatic wine offers layers and layers of rich, fruit flavors and spice. Juicy raspberry, blackberry preserves, and a touch of dried cranberry are balanced with spicy notes of cinnamon and black pepper that merge with a lengthy finish.
