Wine Review: This clear and golden yellow colored Chardonnay from V. Sattui opens with an inviting pineapple and pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and zesty. The flavor profile is a spiced Bartlett pear and oak blend with notes of pineapple and vanilla custard. I also detected hints of quince and white pepper in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time. I would pair this tasty Chardonnay with a warm lobster roll. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 2023 Napa Valley Chardonnay shines with a sunlit straw-gold hue, opening with aromas of wet stone, caramel apple, and lively acidity. On the palate, juicy pear and a silky, vibrant texture are lifted by a touch of toasted oak, adding warmth and depth. The result is a wine that is elegant, refreshing, and irresistibly delicious.
