Wine Review: This hazy and dark red colored Grenache and Mourvèdre blend from the Rossi Ranch in Sonoma Valley opens with a mild black raspberry tea and pencil shavings bouquet with hints of black pepper, dark chocolate, and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a mild blackberry and stone dust blend with notes of cedar and raspberry tea. We also detected hints of black pepper, clove, and red licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and refined tannins build-up and stick around for a while. We would pair this red blend with a filet mignon and mushroom risotto. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The nose offers aromas of strawberry rhubarb and spice followed by a palate of dried black cherries, tea leaf, and clove with nice minerality and supple tannins.
